Information for Retiree Belatedly Enrollment

Retiree Late Enrollment is the time when retired country employees and retired employees from a PEBP participating local government (or the surviving spouse or domestic partner of such retirees) tin reinstate PEBP retiree coverage one time. PEBP provides a comprehensive benefit package to eligible full-time employees and retirees which includes medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and bones life insurance. Boosted voluntary products are also available to purchase.

PEBP offers three medical program options for Northern Nevada and 3 medical plan options for Southern Nevada. Those residing out of the state of Nevada accept two plan options to cull from.

Northern Nevada:

Consumer Driven Health Plan (PPO) with an HSA or HRA
Depression-Deductible Plan (LD-PPO)
Premier Programme (EPO)

Southern Nevada:

Out-of-State:

Plan Year

Benefits are based on a fiscal twelvemonth, rather than a calendar year. The plan twelvemonth starts July 1st and ends June 30th. New Hire Enrollment

Medical Plan Enrollment

Employees working in a full-time position with a state agency, participating not-land agency, or the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) are eligible for benefits on:

Enrolling in Retiree Coverage

Retirees should contact the Social Security Assistants (SSA) 60-90 days prior to their 65th birthday to determine if they qualify forpremium-free Medicare Part A coverage.

Retirees with Medicare Parts A and B will be required to enroll in a medical plan through Via Benefits unless they cover a not-Medicare dependent on their programme or accept TRICARE for Life.

Portability of Basic Life and/or Voluntary Life Insurance Coverage

Terminating employees may be eligible to port or catechumen their bones and/or voluntary grouping life insurance under the "Portability and/or Right to Catechumen" provisions of their Standard life insurance policies. To apply, complete the Group Conversion packet or the Group Life Portability Insurance awarding inside 31 days after your employment terminates.
